How agents find a skill
Agents can use skills already installed in their environment. To find a new one, they may search the web, a skill directory or a repository, depending on their tools and your request. Hosting a file does not automatically install it or guarantee a recommendation.
Read the skill before use. For a compatible agent, save it as SKILL.md inside a named skill folder using that agent’s installation instructions. You can also paste it into a conversation as instructions for that task.
